Hi, my name is Kaelee, and I share what it’s like navigating chronic illness, mobility aids, and everyday life “in the wild.” If you encountered me in the wild, welcome!
My Mobility Story

I didn’t expect to need a mobility aid in my twenties, and I definitely didn’t expect how much it would change my life.
My health journey started with POTS, and more recently I was diagnosed with MS. After developing POTS, leaving the house began to feel like a risk. I was constantly thinking about distance, energy, terrain, and whether I’d be able to make it back.
Now, I still have limitations, but I have options.
I use a manual wheelchair for the moments where control and comfort matter most, and when I need more support, more distance, or just a little more freedom, I attach my Firefly 2.5.
I’ve taken it through grass, around cities, and into everyday places that would have felt exhausting or inaccessible before. It hasn’t fixed everything and I still have to pace myself, and I still have days where I crash after but it’s made it possible for me to actually go.
And that matters more than anything.
If you’re looking into this setup, I do have a code you can use, which allows you to get a free tire with your purchase.
Add the Road Slick Tire to your cart and use WILD26.
A front-mounted power attachment that connects to a manual wheelchair and turns it into a powered scooter.
From daily errands to outdoor adventures, the Firefly helps me conserve energy and stay independent.
Quick attach/detach, easy to switch between manual and powered, and more compact than a full power chair.
Battery removal, airport travel, city navigation - this setup gives me flexibility I wouldn't have otherwise.
